Husband got me John Mayer’s new CD :) I hope it’s good!

So I just spent an insane amount of time typing out this big explanation on my computer. It helped me vent but when I got done it seemed really unnecessary, so ill just say this…

Our roommates cost us so much money it’s insane. Last month we literally spent close to $300 on groceries in two weeks because of them. I’m so not exaggerating you guys. It’s become insanely ridiculous. I cant imagine how much more money we’d have in our savings if we didn’t spend the last year in this living situation. I get so pissed at them every time I look at our bank account, especially after last month’s escapades.

I should probably care more…especially because the President and his decisions directly affect my husband and therefore my family because he his my husbands Boss (very literally…he’s a Marine).  However, I really don’t have much of an opinion on who gets elected.  I havent stayed informed about any of the candidates and I honestly really kind of hate politics so I pay very little attention to what Obama is doing and has done.  That being said…I think that, absent of his job as President, Obama is a really great guy.  Cant say he has or has not done much for the country (i’m sure there are very valid arguments for bot view points) but he really seems like a great person.  That really doesnt mean jack shit when it comes down to the state of the country but whatever.

I said all that to say this… Regardless of who is elected, I’d really like to keep Michelle Obama.  I think she’s the bees knees.  Amazing woman.  Perfect first lady.  I haven’t found a single thing I dislike about her and I would be much more inclined to listen to the things she has to say than the things her husband has to say.  I just love her so much.  A lot of the big issues she is concerned with really match up with my interests so I believe that has a lot to do with it.  Anyway…she’s on the view right now and thats what got me going…I’d go on and on about Whoopie and Barbra Wawa too, but I’ll spare you the torment. That is all.

Jagger keeps kicking me right in the ribs then punching my bladder… Look dude, I know it’s cramped in there but there’s really nothing I can do about it until you decide to come out. Work with me kid!

One of my very best friends is getting married today back home in KY. Obviously I couldn’t go because I’m stuck in stupid North Carolina because I could into labor at any moment. I’m so heartbroken that I can’t be there! I’ve already had at least three choking-back-tears moments today. All the other girls are keeping me updated and sending me pictures so its like I’m there too.

Baby Bre (she’s 4’10” an that generous) was in my wedding and she has included me, as much as possible, in hers. She even got me a bridesmaid gift :). There are too many of us to have everyone be a bridesmaid in our weddings so whoever isn’t a bridesmaid is always given an extra special job at the wedding and included in all pre wedding activities just as though we were all bridesmaids. Bre is wedding #3 in our group and it’s pretty safe to say we’ll have at least one a year for the next 2-3 years if not more.

We’ve all been friends for so long that missing these big life moments makes me feel so guilty. The girls all got together last night and we facetimed so I could see them all and they could see my big baby belly. They’re all missing the birth of the first baby in our group and they’re all as equally heartbroken over it. I can’t wait to be back home with my girls and never have to miss this stuff again!

I’m pretty sure Jagger is on his way. I’ve been having some contractions (very mild and very far apart) and this strange burning thing going on in my tummy. His foot/leg has taken up rent on top of my rib cage making it impossible to sit comfortably. He’s just getting so big! I was up every hour, at least, last night before I gave up on sleeping altogether at 5am. Nausea has reappeared and I’m feeling exhausted and extremely irritable. I’m sleeping on puppy pads under the sheet on my side of the bed just incase my water breaks at night. I’m 38 weeks today so we’re definitely in the home stretch!
